He is preparing for the return of the 2022 cooking show "My Kitchen Rules".

But Manu Feildel took time out on Saturday to attend the premiere of Sing 2 with his family.

The 47-year-old celebrity chef walked on the red carpet with his wife Clarissa Weerasena and the couple's 6-year-old daughter Charlie.

At the same time, his wife of three years was wearing jeans, a shirt with a beautiful pattern and a tan jacket.

This outing took place before Manu returned to the judge seat of "My Kitchen Rules" in 2022.

But he admitted that he was "sad" not to work with the controversial co-star, 48-year-old Pete Evans.

He’s back: this outing was taken before Manu returned to the judge seat in my kitchen rules in 2022

The French-Australian chef told the Daily Telegraph on Saturday: "I think I am a little sad. Pete and I are very good partners, and nothing has changed there.

"We have worked together for a long time, and I love this person. The fact that he won't sit next to me is not my choice.

Manu went on to say that he didn't know who would star in this show with him, but some big names were among them.

"I'm still not sure who will join me. There are some international names circulating around," he said.

In May 2020, Pete and Manu have served as a judge for MKR for 10 years, and announced that they have parted ways with Channel 7.

According to the Australian newspaper, the decision to free Pete from his $800,000 contract was reportedly a cost-cutting measure.

As the coronavirus recession hits the television industry, No. 7 has been giving up its most expensive assets, and Pete has been called "the unresolved fruit."

The former restaurant owner believes that Covid is a scam and that the vaccine is harmful. He lost dozens of sponsorships after sharing neo-Nazi content on Facebook last year.

"We have worked together for a long time and I love this person. The fact that he won't sit next to me is not my choice" he said

Pete was expelled from Facebook for sharing misinformation in December last year.

He was also fined a hefty fine by the Australian medical regulatory agency for allegedly illegally promoting therapeutic products.

In April 2020, the controversial chef was fined $25,000 for trying to sell his so-called BioCharger for $15,000 on Facebook.

In May 2021, he was fined $79,920 for advertising BioCharger and several other unapproved and completely ineffective treatments.

In the 2022 Upfront demo on Channel 7 in October, the most shocking news is that the maker will be resurrected-but there is a big difference.

According to the seven, the show will have "all new judges"-but it has now been confirmed that Manu will return.

The cooking show was previously hosted by Evans, Feildel and Colin Fassnidge.

MKR used to be the ratings giant of "Sevens", but in recent years, as viewers flock to Channel Nine's "Love at First Sight", its popularity has dropped sharply.
