Milton Arts Guild will offer a class on painting with alcohol ink to create a stunning landscape.

All needed supplies will be provided to students for Alcohol Ink Landscapes with Barbara Buford, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, in the guild gallery at 107 Federal St., Milton.

The class costs $60, including all supplies.

Students will create a 4”x4” alcohol ink painting on YUPO paper (a recyclable, waterproof, tree-free synthetic paper), learning the techniques of dealing with alcohol ink, and learning to mount the painting once it is complete.

Because supplies are provided, students need only bring a smock, apron or old garments to avoid staining their clothes

Buford has been an artist for more than 40 years. In 2007 she created the Creative HeArts art program for adults with developmental disabilities. Her work was published in a 2015 art book called “Intuitive Painting Workshop,” by Alena Hennessey. Buford teaches at the Art Center of Ocean City in Maryland, and teaches an expressive art journaling class for the Cancer Center of Delaware. She also shows her work at the Art Center of Ocean City.
