A charity organization focused on helping independent restaurant workers in need of help is having a big, delicious fundraising event.

Apron Inc. is celebrating its 11th year with the "10 Taste Salute."

The event will feature five special guest chefs preparing a special five-course meal as well as five special mixologists making five paired cocktails.

The dinner and celebration happens on Oct. 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Cafe in Paristown.

There will be champagne toast welcome with appetizers provided by The Cafe as guests can hang outside at Paristown's outdoor space.

Then, guests will go inside to begin the feast.

Proceeds will go toward Apron Inc.'s mission.
