The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) can now affix the Space Army logo on the driver’s license of a Space Army guardian or veteran. The Space Force was recently confirmed as a U.S. military service. DMV has and will continue to provide these respective service members with signs of other military departments. 

The High Rockies Harm Reduction and Recovery Program has ensured that indoor locations throughout the valley can run its injector service program. Starting from the Thanksgiving holiday, their confidential service will be offered in Rifle from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesday, Glenwood Springs on Friday, Carbondale on Thursday, and Aspen and Basalt alternately on Monday. The town of Ridgway and the Netherlands passed a "natural rights" resolution on the Colorado waterways. In a unanimous vote of the council with one abstention, Ridgeway, with the help of the non-profit organizations Earth Law and Save the Colorado, announced the personality of the Uncompahgre River and appointed guardianship for legal representatives. The resolution declared "the right to maintain a sufficient amount of natural flow to maintain the health of the ecosystem." 

Diane McKnight, a professor at the Arctic and Alpine Institute at the University of Colorado, reports that “high-altitude lakes are changing due to climate warming and atmospheric nitrogen deposition.” An analysis of seven alpine lakes in Colorado shows that ice has melted more than three decades. Garfield County passed an amendment to its rat-tail grouse protection plan. The plan covers parts of the Parachute, Piceance Basin, and Roan Plateau area.
